The Base & the Stukely Inn Club

So, yesterday - July 3rd - Tasha & I went to Huntington which is a cute little British village that has some shops and two pretty churches... We stumbled across an antique store with really cool stuff! Some lady thought I worked there?! So I'll take that as 'I fit in'... We grabbed lunch at --- pub - I got, go figure, a tuna melt with 'chips' and a fantastic fruity beer from Sweden called ---. Tasha let me trie her brie, bacon,& cranberry sandwich! Tasty.

Once we made our way home & I took yet another nap, Tasha left for work.. Her folks took me onto the base for their 4th Of July Celebration around 6ish...

There was loads of carnival food, drinks & fireworks that Tasha caught after work ... Met a really cool couple that talked to me about modern sculptural art - she was a gallery director in LA!

Anyways, after the fireworks we went to the base club... Which.. I guess could be comparable to a middle school dance with alcohol... The DJ had an unnatural fascination with the "teach me how to dougie" song.. He played it FOUR times.. It was a little unnecessary.. Tasha and I got subtly stabled by a military guy in a grey shirt.. But found friends :) all & all it was a good night out :) can't wait for Croatia!

Oh yeah, Tasha's parents and I visited her at her really cool job at the bowling alley ha!
